About The Electric Car Scheme
The Electric Car Scheme is an independent UK provider founded in 2020, offering electric car salary sacrifice for both new and used EVs. It is a certified B Corp (since January 2024) and accesses multiple funders to keep pricing competitive.
Alongside the car scheme, it runs The Charge Scheme, which lets employees salary-sacrifice their domestic electricity costs for charging, helping cut the running cost of an EV. Setup is designed to be fast and low-admin, with day-one employer protection included.
Clients include Holland & Barrett and Time Out. The provider has been recognised as Best Salary Sacrifice Provider (Car Sloth, 2024 and 2025) and EV Salary Sacrifice Provider of the Year (SME News, 2026).
