About Medicash
Medicash provides health cash plans, not full PMI. Employees pay for everyday healthcare (dentist, optician, physio, prescriptions) and claim back fixed amounts up to annual limits. Premiums are typically £4-£15 per employee per month.
Founded in Liverpool in 1871, Medicash is a not-for-profit mutual, surpluses go back into member services. It's a sensible alternative to PMI for SMEs that want broad staff coverage on a smaller budget.
